Room to Explore

Most of our abandoned locations provide a multitude of buildings, vehicles and photographic subjects. This gives you room to explore without compromising your creativity or distracting others in the process. Remember, get your shot and move on. It’s better to go home with 100 unique images than 100 images of the same thing.

Safety in Numbers

‘I want to photograph these places, but I don’t want to go alone.’ This is one of the main reasons for people attending Abandoned Photo Tours. These old buildings are home to animals, and are overgrown with grass which can make the area dangerous. Although the locations have been pre-scouted for hazards there is always a risk of injury. Having others around is always a good idea when exploring.

Private Tours Available

Do you belong to a camera club? It’s not uncommon for camera clubs or a group of friends to secure their own private tours. Depending on your area, a tour can be arranged to accommodate your group. This could also include a classroom session tailored to your interests.

“Abandoned Photo Tours was instrumental in developing my skills and knowledge of photography. After attending just ONE tour, I knew I was addicted. It’s the absolute safest way to photograph multiple abandoned settings in one day.” - Amber G.
